Witness observed a single triangular, dark/possibly black object hovering approximately 600 feet away and two inches above the treeline (from witness viewpoint), at an angle of approximately 60 degrees. The object had steady, bright white lights set in the corners of the triangle that were not flashing or pulsing. The object did not move. Witness ran to get her brother; by the time she returned (approximately 2 minutes later), the object had vanished. Direction of travel noted as east.
