The record

Witness arrived at his business at approximately 4:00am and noticed what appeared to be a star in the northeastern sky. Upon returning to his truck a short time later, he again observed the object and noticed it was too low on the horizon to be a star and appeared to be moving toward him. As it got closer, he noticed many red lights shining down. The object appeared to be two to three stories high like a house, with many windows and a very bright light on the inside. It was moving very slowly and silently in a northeast to southwest direction, passing just to the south of his location just above tree level. From the rear, the light appeared dimmer. He described it as a floating three-story house about the size of a football field with a bright headlight-like light on the front. There were no physical traces and the object was completely silent. He subsequently reported the sighting to the local police department, and the dispatcher notified Central Dispatcher from St. Clair County, who in turn notified the Lebanon Police Department.
